Hi Friends, im doing MBA in HR from EDITH COWAN UNIVERSITY , AUSTRALIA..
but classes are held in Bangalore but get the degree from there. There is an option that we can go to Australia for last sem.








Nandini
She joined M.Tech(Digital Communications) in BMSCE. It is a full time course and started on 4-sep-08. She had taken the PGCET exam in the mid of this year and she got 227th rank in the exam, which helped her to get a seat in a good college.

M.S in Australia

One of my colleague is going to Australia, on Feb2009, to pursue his MS. If anyone of you are interested, can make use of the following details.

University Name: Latrobe
Location : Melbourne, Australia
Degree: M.S
Course Duration : 2years

Qualification required: 65%in 10th, 60%in 2nd PUC & B.E
Eligibility : 6.5 in IELTS (International English language test), which can be scored pretty easily (according to few of my friends here)

Venue for IELTS : kasturbha road
Dates : june 28th, july 5th and july 24th
Fee for IELTS exam :Rs.7200

Conditions : Duration of Part time job during your course should not exceed 20 hours/week.

Expenditure for M.S (fee+accomdation) : 20lakhs

Description : part time jobs like librarian, canteen boy are available inside the campus, which may earn you around 3 lakhs. Meanwhile in the course duration you get a stipend of 7 lakhs. So totally 10 lakhs can be earned in 2 years. Rest 10lakhs should be availed through educational loan.
Once course is completed , work permit is provided by Australian government. Anyone can earn minimum of 20 lakhs in a year by working in Australia .
So investment is returned in 2 to 3 years.

Batches start from September and February, every year.

Admissions for September2008 & February2009 batch are open

IELTS form can be downloaded from www.britishcouncil.org link. Only credit card payment is accepted. Only hard copy of the forms are accepted at the office(Kasturbha road).

Arjun and Pallavi : Joined MS

Arjun and Pallavi : Doing MS in Comp Science in Manipal university .

It’s a part time MS . The classes are on Sundays alone. It’s a two years course.
1st year 12 subjects (6+ 6 ) two sem. Next year is the project.

If your company nominates you, nominate in the sense., if they agree to show the project which u are doing in the company you can show the same project as your final year project else u have to do the project on your own or in some consultancy.

If you’re interested to do MS in BITS u need one year work experience and there is only one course which is offered.

Both the MS in BITS and MIT are not AICTE recognized. “This MS will not fetch you any job. It can only enhance your knowledge. Some companies do recognize it”. This is what the manipal university person said to them while they enquired.

Prakash : I am doing an Executive MBA from Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune, Mumbai. I got an opportunity to do my higher studies as MindTree Ltd is in Tie-up with the University. I joined MBA on January 2008. Specification is MBA in IT (Information Technology).
